Christmas Snow
This past weekend we had a beautiful snow fall and quite cold temperatures. Although it's not quite Christmas yet, it seems close enough to call it a Christmas Snow; the kind that you picture in your mind or see on Christmas cards.
It made me think of Christmas snows when I was growing up in southern Michigan. There is always something magical in the way fresh snow seems to transform everything into images that are breathtaking if we only take time to enjoy them.
There are more pictures of the snow in the slide show in the right column.

Those are great pictures Uncle Jon! I am dreaming of a White Christmas, but I am afraid we won't have one. It has been almost 80 the past few days..I wish it would at least get cold. I miss the days of White Christmases like the ones we had in Pgh.
What incredible pictures of snow collected on trees, fencerails, steps, rocks, etc.!! I think I would pull up a chair by the window and stare outside all day!! It makes me miss that festive atmosphere!!
