What a special treat to go to my granddaughters dance recital Wednesday night. The performance follows a theme every year that is based on the birth of Jesus Christ. This is a testimony to the owner of the dance studio who dedicates the studio to the Lord.
The format is a dark stage, a narrator who reads from the Bible a brief selection from Old Testament prophecy or New Testament documentation of Jesus birth, followed by a dance number to recorded or live music tied to the scripture reading. This sequence was repeated 26 times as there were 26 dance numbers of all age classes from pre-school age through adults. What a great evening of outstanding music and dance performed to honor the Birth of Jesus Christ.
Photography, either still or video is not allowed during the performance. So, the picture above was take post-performance, out of costume, but proudly displaying flowers from mom, dad, and brother; aunty Kirstin and uncle Paul; and grandma and grandpa.
