Thanks to all the heroes who have had an impact on our lives. The hero comes in all sizes and shapes. They may be school teachers, pastors, sports figures, neighbors, moms and dads or brothers and sisters. But on Veterans Day we need to remember the many who served and still serve our country and are all heroes in their own right.
In the movies, heroes are charismatic rebels played by the likes of Will Smith or Bruce Willis. But researchers who surveyed decorated World War II veterans found not all heroes are cut from the same swashbuckling cloth. Quiet types with a sense of loyalty and selflessness often have the right stuff, too.

That is so true! It is ashame that the media now portrays our service men & women as being forced to serve and not wanting to fight for our country. Hats off to all the vets!
