National Day Of Prayer

Here is some good news, amazing as it seems, 50 governors have endorsed the National Day of Prayer.

National Day of Prayer Task Force officials confirmed today that the governors of all 50 states and the Virgin Islands have signed proclamations for the 57th annual National Day of Prayer, which is Thursday.

Proclamations publicly acknowledge there is a day designated for Americans to unite in prayer. Each state’s proclamation and constitution will be read during a prayer event at each state capitol.

This should be fodder for some of the special interest groups - probably proclaiming that prayer is infringing on their rights.
